Just a short distance to campo santa margherita. Overall it was an AMAZING stay.
Breakfasts were enjoyable.
Scuola grande di san rocco was within walking distance. The room had a great balcony. Loved that the hotel was very close to the train station, 13 minutes' walk.
Beautifully decorated. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff
There was no elevator temporarily because of the renovation
Very good location 500 m from taxi-buses and the tarin station, quiet and nice renovated rooms. Beautiful breakfast room with a varied breakfast. In the evening, in a nice bar a drink was accompanied by tasty snacks and it's for free. You are really spoilt there.
Very good as a hotel. Cleanliness etc...
Hotel under renovation impacting only the exterior and the way of access to the hotel, fortunately from the inside, nothing negative.
We recently enjoyed 2 wonderful nights at the Hotel, the location is exceptional and we never had to worry about transport or access to any of Venice's attractions. The room was large, quiet and very comfortable, beds and pillows a nice thread still common to Sofitel The staff were warm and genuine in their service, helpful at all times and Stefano the Head Concierge is worthy of particular mention. He was very helpful in providing advice and tips of where to spend our limited time in the city, I would strongly recommend any first time visitor to use this hotel as a safe stylish and comfortable base for this glorious city and make sure you drink lots of Aperol Spitz's
Nothing of concern Hotel does NOT have its own wifi or internet PC but we did use Vodafone wifi or the little internet shop across the canal. Pack lightly or use a bag with wheels as its a 10 min walk from the parking station and you are expected to move your own bags to and from the hotel. Make sure you book parking if driving! local tip, dont go to venice in November where the tides will ruin the typical experience
Excellent staff, very friendly and always willing to help.
Our room was close to the lift /elevator and it was very noisy. If you stay, please ask to be moved to a different room.
Beautiful hotel, great staff
Very far from main attractions in Venice
The hotel is ideally located on a small canal adjacent to the Grand Canal. It is very conveniently located with easy access from the bus terminal at Piazza Roma and there are small bars/restaurants nearby which add character but are not intrusive. Despite its closeness to major sites, it is tranquil and the standard of accommodation and service is extremely high.
Nothing, really. I could not fault it albeit the cost of dining was high but this probably reflects currency exchange rates rather than excessive charges.
The lovely room and good staff. The woman in the dining room was a truly good breakfast hostess who kept her staff on their toes in a nice way.
No complaints at all but a little high priced when we saw that the Gardena \hotel was only 140 Euros per night with a lovely breakfast.
Handy for Transport Train,Bus,Taxi,Vaporetta,Water Taxi. Ideal Location for explorong Venice
The dining room is very cosy, and although my room was quite small (a single) it had a very comfortable bed and a quite reasonable bathroom with natural light.
Location was great for us u can walk to every were and u have a water-bus station near that goes every where.they had a water taxi arranged to take us to the murano island which was very nice . the staff is helpful the room was really clean and the room maintenance was great, they come 2 times a day to arrange the bed and clean up ..the size of the room was very good with a big balcony on the fifth floor with a nice view(we had the deluxe room with canal view).air conditioning works real good which would be helpful on hot summer days.over all we had a great stay and we would go back there when we have the chance.
we asked for a table and chairs in the balcony which we didn't get .but as i understood the weather wasn't so good b4 our stay so they hadn't put them out yet.
Its location and that it was 2 minutes walk from the bus station. It was a lovely room and the breakfast was amazing
The location is perfect for the bus station, the beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was nice.
